Kristin helped bring focus to the overwhelming task of selecting and applying to college.  Our work with her was of great value to both our son and us as parents.  Our son felt that she understood his criteria and unique perspective in a way that his school or parents did not.  At the same time she worked with our son, she guided us (parents) through the different steps of the process.  We are grateful for her experience, perspective, and talents as a college counselor.

When I started looking at colleges I was anxious about finding a place that was just right for me. You gave me a lot of guidance about different schools, so it helped me narrow the choices. You insisted my applications look perfect and helped me think through the Early Decision and Early Action options.

I could fill in all the blanks in my college applications but you came up with creative ways to present me as a personality. I think I was accepted to my favorite school partly because of your idea to add to one of my essays a photo that perfectly illustrated my passion for my intended major. It offered a visual and emotional dimension to my application.
